Travel poems are a favorite and so is the poetry of Sandy Benitez. Loved the title, the concept and the photo. The poems give a glimpse of Iraq that I shall never see, I suppose, and I was glad to view it through the poet's words. I found postcards eleven and fourteen especially compelling.
Lori, I just got word of your comments so felt it was proper to revisit and leave a big Thank You. I'm grateful to hear you liked the poems and took the time to leave a note.

A Welcome from the Speakeasy
The Camel Saloon created Books on Blog™ to be the 21st Century digital equivalent of physical chapbooks. Each collection is presented under a single stand-alone blog page, offered free to the viewing public and at no cost to the author. No fine print, no gimmicks, and all rights to the content revert to the author immediately upon posting.

PS: The joint is using the trademark symbol on this venture to keep the phrase ‘Books on Blog’ out of the hands of fatcats, swindlers and thieves, so be concerned not about that, dromedaries, malcontents and jewels of the world.
